VIKAS SAHAJWANI
The Sales Architect
Sales isn’t about selling more. It’s about creating more value.
25+ Years. Real Deals. Real Defeats. Real Lessons.
Where every conversation can become a connection—and every connection can create value.
Welcome to the World of The Sales Architect
Sales is often described through numbers, targets, strategies, and closing techniques.
But behind every sale is a person.
A person with a need.
A person with a concern.
A person looking for trust.
The Sales Architect takes you beyond conventional sales theory and into the real world of conversations, relationships, setbacks, breakthroughs, and decisions that define a sales professional.
This is the story of twenty-five years in the field—told through the deals that worked, the deals that didn’t, and the lessons that stayed.
Meet Vikas Sahajwani
The Mind Behind The Sales Architect
Vikas Sahajwani is the creator of The Sales Architect philosophy and brings over twenty-five years of experience across insurance, media, health insurance, retail, banking, and sustainability.
An Electronics Engineer from Nagpur University and an alumnus of the Executive Programme in Business Management at IIM Calcutta, Vikas has spent his career building high-performing sales teams, closing landmark deals, and mentoring professionals across diverse industries.
But for Vikas, sales has never been simply about numbers.
His philosophy is grounded in one fundamental belief:
People buy trust before they buy products.
Through his writing, coaching, and training, Vikas is on a mission to help professionals rediscover sales as the art of building relationships, creating value, and transforming lives.
The Sales Architect
Twenty-five years of real deals, real defeats, and real lessons.
A product can solve a problem.
A pitch can explain its benefits.
A strategy can create an opportunity.
But trust creates the relationship that makes the conversation meaningful.
The Sales Architect philosophy looks at sales through a human lens—where listening matters, relationships matter, integrity matters, and every interaction has the potential to create value.
Sales is not a transaction. It is a relationship in motion.
The Sales Architect is not a textbook.
It is not a collection of theories written from a distance.
It is a journey through the defining moments of a sales career—moments that happened in real conversations, real markets, real negotiations, and real life.
From a chance conversation on a bus to Mount Abu to a ₹5 crore deal born from a father’s silent fear, the book takes readers inside the moments that shaped Vikas Sahajwani’s understanding of sales.
There are victories.
There are defeats.
There are moments of doubt.
And there are lessons that only experience can teach.
Each story reveals something about people, relationships, decisions, persistence, trust, and the unpredictable human side of selling.
Why Read The Sales Architect?
